Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina
Blue Ridge Parkway is a favorite scenic drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains, connecting the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. It is almost 470 miles (cca.755 km) long. The forest trails are great for hiking and lead to beautiful views overlooking the mountains and hidden waterfalls.
